Just adding in a few of my recent works I’ve done while still working on the oil painting I mentioned in my first Journal post.
First up is a portrait of David Sylvian (singer of Japan) done in pencil and chalk for a good friend of mine for her birthday last month (hello Caroline – if I had the money, I’d make you my manager!).
And second is a fox in the snow done in coloured pencil with a little acrylic used for the snow. This latter pic I’ll be displaying (all being well, as I am in the process of being evicted from my home of 17 years) at Meyer Hall in Bebington sometime in September, but I’ll post about that when it’s all confirmed. Oh, and I guess I should mention that the exhibition is by the Wirral Society of Arts (WSA) who kindly accepted me into their ranks a few months ago!
Short n sweet!
I’m outta here,
Jimbob 🙂
